That's the keyword.
Do not copy things from other servers.
also, self-coded stuff is needed too.
I, personally, totally love it when servers have self-coded stuff...

| You know, every private server sucks. Original servers are ftw and ppl who are wasting their times playing private ones means that they won't achieve anything and the server WILL close after some days/months/years while original servers will last forever (unless not popular game)

Good GM's are MUST.
Dont be mean.
Good rates.
Good items and drops.
Not alot of glitches or bugs.
Don't copy shit fro mother servers.
Carry a swag inside your server

As close to the real thing as possible with a few exceptions:
1. Higher drop and EXP rates
2. Make rare items buyable in stores or eaiser to find/buy.
3. Start with more than just an empty character.
4. Active Game Masters.
5. Lots of events.
6. People. The more your server has the more that will keep joining.

For me I want to play something that is up all the time and doesn't have staff that act like show offs because they are some sort of important people. I want to play a game where you occasionally see a GM but you get help when requested. I do not ever want to play a game where GM take favour in members because it is totally bull shit...
Bascially a game where anyone can play within minutes; never to hard to setup. Easy to follow and play. Not so many GM's and no cocky ones either or show offs.
Good servers do not copy peoples servers GOOD SERVERS DO NOT NEED TO HAVE OTHER PEOPLES NAMES ALL OVER THEIR SHIT THEY MAKE THEIR OWN STUFF!!!!

Here is a list of what is a must for a good server in my opinion:
Good GMS
Good coders
Rates- Can not be too high or too low
A lot of events
Working server-AKA does not dc or restart, at least 95% things work.
People- Remember to advertise a lot to get a lot of people.
Custom items- To help them enjoy the game.
