Here my Comp Stats

-Intel Dual Core 2.33Ghz E6550

I was thinking upgrading to 4GB RAM 800Mhz

Get 4GB of RAM
OC the CPU to 3.6 GHz (very easy to do)
Get a new graphics card (GeForce 9800GT or Radeon 4830) <$100
Get a 1TB HDD ($90)

A 1TB hdd wouldn't make his computer better. :/

It is arguable if it will make it better or not... If he had a 50gb hard drive, and he used 49gb... His computer probably would not be running at peak performance... So an increase in hard drive size would help.

Overclocking is not necessary...

Your computer is fine but the extra memory would be nice...

I would assume the 7600GS is a 512mb videocard correct?

I have the same one in my slow PC

And do NOT OC your shit, you'll fuck it up. Especially since you don't know what overclocking is. lol

That's not true. I had no idea about how to overclock, then I looked at my BIOS, increased a number, and done ...
It's really simple. You just need to watch your temps

Temps won't change much at all without a voltage modification. What you really want to check is stability. Try running Prime95 with small FFTs for a time. If you crash, the clock is too high for the voltage.
Although it's likely you didn't try anything too extreme, so that's just for future reference.

Yei first good anwsner about overclocking.
Temps probebly change max 10 degrees without voltclocking.
But high mHz clock + no voltage clock will make it crash alot because it
doesn't get enought power.

More voltage = taking more power = will be higher temp.

You can clock with original cooler with no problem.
My old computer with an E4500 got an original intel cooler and clocks from
2.2gHz to 2.8gHz without volting it, and with volting it about 3.2gHz and still no high temps. This clock is working 24/7.
