What the fuck! I was watchig TV and I see this black bar on the bottom of the screen saying that tonight we will lose 18 channels.

Like WTF?!?! is this some kinda fucking joke?

I hate it when big companies do stuff like this..
Like Sony with it's Memory Stick Dual Pro, should be a lot cheaper but they know people need them and will buy them anyway, whatever the price is...

European companies rarely have this kind of petty quarreling which leads to such drastic actions, they should realize that in the end they're only going to lose customers seeing as those are ridiculously huge channels. People will just switch providers in order to reclaim the channels. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if other providers lowered their prices slightly just to make it a little more tempting.

According wikipedia it says If TWC and Viacom don't reach a agreement then on Dec 31, then on January 1, 2009, at 12:01am all channels owned by Viacom will be pulled off. Bright House Networks will pull these channels too.

The issue was they're not able to reach a agreement regarding fee increases.

I'm stuck on an Air Force base in japan with like 50 channels lol... And they're all horrible quality and have horrible military commercials. I did see that bar though on Comedy Central cause it's all recorded.

I have Comcast and I also saw that black bar saying I'd loose some channels. Will I loose them if I have Comcast?
