Alright so my comp got fcked up and my cousin put in the reformat cd and when i got it the local disk had like 2.5gb and the weird thing is that on the add/remove programs it dosen't have any downloads in it and in program files theres only 5 folder which are useable.
P.S.my comp has to local disks hope that helped.THANKS IN ADVICE

I think I know what your talking about.. Check whats in the 2.5G hard drive. I'm pretty sure its the backup folder or something to do with system restore. So if your computer crashes or something like that you can basically restore everything from there.
Am I right? If its that you have nothing to worry about.

You did System restore? Or Recovery Disk?

You did System restore? Or Recovery Disk? |
Neither. But when my brother bought his laptop I had to delete everything Vista came with , then I notice he had en extra hard drive. It was 2.5G and all it had was a system restore point or something of sorts. Nothing harmful.

Try this.
Start >> Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup Hit the tab more options. Then click Clean Restore files..
Trust me on this.

I used system restore and i think my cousin used system disk recovery cause all my program files where there when i had them before.
P.S. my comp was 50 gb when it was when it got screwed up sis downloadid od songs

Yea, Just click Your hard drive in my computer, and it should show a tab, with ur space
