Welcome to my Tutorial on how to Make Sexy Trainers


In this Tutorial we will learn how to create nice looking Trainers with TMK.
I decided to write this Tutorial since a lot of beginners use TMK and Trainer Maker Kit is not well know for making Uber Sexy Trainers.

So in this tutorial, we will learn to create something like this:




-Tools Needed-Photoshop (No need to buy it! Download the trial version)
TMK (Trainer Maker Kit)
Imagination




.:: Part 1 - Buttons! ::.

Launch Photoshop and create a new project. File > New.
Name it Button. Next, I chose : Width = 140 Height = 20
But you are free to put the dimension you like.



Ok, we are now ready to start working!
Now think about witch background you’re gonna make for your trainer.
Once you know, choose a color that will matches with your future background.
Take the Paint Bucket and put your chosen color on your Button.



Now, lets make it look like a button! At the bottom right of your screen, you should see
the main layer. Right Click it and choose “Blending Option”.



Simply check Bevel and Emboss.
As you can see, your button as some relief now.



Now here we have an optional choice.
You can leave your button like this and add some text, or, you can add a Pattern!
(More Experimented people may also want to brush the button)

Create a new project (File > New), Width = 4 Height = 4
Once its created, zoom to the maximum.



For the color, choose black, and for the tool, choose the pencil.
Now with the pencil make 4 squares from left to right in diagonal.
Make sure the diameter is set to 1, as show in the picture.



Now click on Edit, and then on “Define Pattern”.
Name it whatever you want and click OK.



Now lets get back to our Button. Do the same as last time :
Right Click the layer and choose “Blending Option”.
Now click on “Pattern Overlay”, but do not click directly on the checkbox!
Click on the label “Pattern Overlay”. If done correctly, you should now see
the pattern menu. Select the pattern you just created and set the opacity to what you think is the best. I chose a soft opacity of 42 %. Finally, click OK.




At this step, save your button. File > Save As. Make sure you save it as .PSD so that you can re-edit it with Photoshop.

Last thing to do, but most important. Add some text!
Before starting, if you want a nice font, go download one at : www.dafont.com

Once you are ready, choose the Text Tool and make a rectangle.
Select your font and choose the right size for your font.
Once its done, select the Move Tool and smoothly, with the arrow keys, center your text.



Now, Save button in .BMP !!! TMK will only accept .BMP !
Once you button is saved, change the text for another hack. And save it again.
Do this for all your hacks.

Time to make a Clicked Button! Basically, the button that will appear when you click it.
Its very simple. First, remove the text you added.

Right Click the main layer (Layer 1) and choose again “ Blending Option”.
Go in the Bevel and Emboss menu by clicking on it, not the checkbox!
Now instead of making the relief going up, select down. Now we have the feeling that we just pushed the button. Click OK.



Now save it.
Save the button as .BMP !!!

Yippie! We just finished Part 1! Making our Buttons!

.:: Part 2 - Background ::.

Since there is a lot of Photoshop Tutorial around the web, I won’t need to explain you how to make a nice background. Only thing you need is an image and a tutorial.

And brushed a little bit the background.

Just search around the web (Google is your friend) and find an easy tutorial that you like.
When doing the tutorial, remember to make the colors you choose and the image you chose to match with your buttons.

.:: Part 3 - Adding everything to TMK ::.

By reading this tutorial, you should have already created at least one trainer with TMK. If not, then learn the principal functions before continuing.

Open your Trainer Project with TMK.



Now select one of your buttons and open the Properties Window. Go in the Bmp section.
Now for the first 2 Load buttons, click them and select the corresponding Button you made with Photoshop. EX: If you are in the properties of the button “Unlimited Ammo”, select the button you saved for the Unlimited Ammo hack. For the last Load button, click it and select your Clicked Button. Last but not least, click on the right checkbox that says “Use as bitmap button”. If you did everything right, you should see the button you did in Photoshop on your trainer window. And if you test it, the Clicked Button should appear when you click it. Repeat for every buttons. If you forgot to create a button on Photoshop, don’t worry, just open the .PSD you saved earlier and add the text you want.



Finally, add an image to the window and select the Background you created. Adjust it so that it fit nicely your trainer window.

TMK is terrible. But I suppose the GUI is nice.

TMK is not terrible. TMK is HORRIBLE.

And thats why I don't use it anymore.

The only good thing about it is its easy to use.


So I made this tutorial for people who still wants to use TMK because they are beginners. But they don't want trainers with a crappy template.
