i always get confused on cmp command

so my question is simple:

cmp 1,2
jg greater
jl smaller

where will it jmp?

i always get confused if it compares 2 to 1 to does it do like if 2 is greater/smaller or if 1 is greater/smaller...
in other words WHICH ONE DOES IT COMPARE?!

It is comparing them with each other.

And as far as where it jumps to, that depends on how you code it or if your using allocated caves in AA script.

but its not asking jump if greater than 1 and jump if less than 2...
cuz then it would jump also to grater and also to smaller so... =\
it gotta jmp to 1 of them...

It compares the right, to the left.

ok thx thats what i thought
so if the right is grater it jumps to grater and if the right is smaller it jumps to smaller
