Is it possible to make Cheat Engine "lock" a value, to prevent the game from every changing it?

That doesn't seem to have any effect on the value in game.

Find your value, once you are absolutly sure it's the value then change it to what you want. Then check the "Freeze" box

I change it to the value I want, and click freeze.

The game does what I want when I change it, but clicking freeze does not freeze the value in game, only the value displayed in CheatEngine.

Searching this forum locates a few threads concerning this game, none have any success however.

If you tick freeze and it still changes, You need to find what writes,reads or access's it. Then you can do injection to make it do what you want.
