I just started using CE and I knew to do basic things with it. And I tried to hack Minesweeper game and it was simple. So considering my level of knowledge, is there anything that I could do with MSN messenger? And if it requires more knowledge, can someone advice me what should I learn next?


Definitely do the CE tutorials that come with the install.
Then try what you learned on pinball and mine sweeper. Then move on to some other small games. By then you should be able to mess with msn as well.

of course there are things you can do with msn messenger, and if you want more practice try doing all the ce tutorials provided.

To be honest...CE is no fun with MSN...hex editing the files is the way to go. Throught hat you can get rid of buttons and advertisements, get rid of the nudge delay, and a ton of other things. IF you could do these things with CE, they may cause crashes since the program would be running.

Definitely learn the tutorial that came installed with CE.
Then move on to pinball and minesweeper. If you did what you wanted to those move on to smallers games even demos.
By then you can tackle msn also.

yea, for things such as MSN and AIM, hex editing is the way to go, it will PERMANENTLY change what you want changed, therefor you dont have to hack it everytime, or make pointers and such. so go read some tutorials on hex editing, and you should be on your way to hacking MSN

You have to know what to hex out. And to find this out you can resource hack it or use a disassembler.
You cant just crack open a hex editor and go to work unless it is written in plain text in the executable or dll for you to see.
