Cheat Engine

Alright so this will prob make me look noobish but i really don't care..

So i wanted to hack space invader's, but when i serched the adress's i did't find any.

Here's what i did

1- Opened the site
2- Opened my engine
3- Attached engine to iexplore.exe
4- Started game
5- Serched 0 (score in the game) and there was like 1mil adress's
6- Got some point's (10) then serched 10 and no adress's came up.

Yes i made sure only the game was open

Anyway's anyone have any idea's on what i did wrong?

no, if you attach to IE is not work,some how u must mess with the flash player.
try use the soledit one

So i half to attach to the game itself? Ah can't do that cuz the game is part of the site itself.. Might be a way tho.

If its flash, search double or times it by 8

yes tried it the multiply by 8 works for that with flash 8, probably with the other versions of flash as well,,

when you start off with 3 ships do a first scan for 24
lose a ship and search 16
for one ship search 8

and you get awarded ships so watch out for your ships increasing

put in 32 and freeze it, er have fun

just attache to internet explorer or firefox and your attached to the game

that multiply by 8 is for the number of ships

the score is different

you will probably have to do an unknown initial value search then use increased searches as your score goes up, would use 4 byte for type for that as well .....score is likely to be serverside going by past experience so dont be surprised if you cannot change it

you wont be able to make a standard cheat table for a flash game with whatever you do find tho

another thing I find is cheat engine works best if you got full admin rights,, wonder if a few peeps on here have problems cos there using a comp with limited user access, just wondered,

you might want to try flash 7 or 8 and see if that works, links to the flash unistaller is on this site and also links to various flash versions,

I had a go at space invaders on an ancient dragon32 a while back, the 32 stood for 32 kilobyte,

I actually got the score to clock over back to zero without cheating then got sick of playing and handed it over to someone else, they lasted 2 minutes
