Most emu's have a built in hack console. Check carefully.

Yes, you can use cheat engine on emulators, but like the other said, there are already, "built in," cheat machines/software.

I do have one more question though. When I scan for a value, what will it most likely be? (ex double, 4-bit, 8-bit, etc.) This is for the N64 emulator Project 64, by the way. It has some basic cheats in it for some games, but the built in equivalent of CE is only in V1.7, which is only accessible to donors to the site.

You will have to try it and see what you find it in.

Dont rule out 16 bit and 2byte scans
