Hey,

How would I go about locating the jump function of my player?

I know a little ASM + about breakpoints but no luck so far...

I'm not sure where to begin. I want to find it so I can prob mod how high he jumps.

Ok, i have done this in a simple little game.

You need to use your freeze process option, that CE has or Art Money.

1. Scan for 4 bytes unknown.
2. Jump in the air and freeze the process.
3. Scan for increased.
4. unfreeze process
5. Scan for decreased.
6. Scan for "unchanged" * To knock out some of those invalid address's
7. Goto Step 2.

You do this and you will find your address,

* Be careful doing scans like this, you can easily get distracted and not remember what you just scanned. If you mess up on a step you will have to start over, if your using ce you can undo a scan. But this does no good if you forgot the last scan you did, Because the cat knocked the lamp down in the living room and you ran to see what happend. LMAo
