Hello everybody. I've been using CE for years for modern games and 8/16 bit emulators. I am now running Windows 98 in 86Box and trying to make cheats inside that install for a fairly obscure game "Prince Of Destruction". Newer CE versions won't start and the oldest ones I can find are 5.5 and 5.6 and these are very unstable and don't seem to find anything at all in the .exe I am examining.
I have also tried using a recent CE version from outside the emulator and that doesn't work either.
Where might I find really old versions of CE that might work on Windows 98?
Thanks!
Thank you very much for that, it works almost exactly like CE and no issues whatsoever making an infinite health cheat at the first try.
My only gripe is that it has a 15 day time limit so I guess I'll be freezing the state in the emulator and I'll have finished with this games after 15x24 hours anyway!

if CE 5.6 works (at least launches) maybe it's issue is the range (NT bases only allows memory from 0 to 7ffffffff but 9x can go higher (which is why it's prone to crashing)
Try entering a specific range of 0 to ffffffff
but yeah, if gamehack works that should be fine
(or just save the gamesave, revert the emulator, load back the save, and resume) _________________
