Hello everyone, I've recently become interested in Cheat Engine and would like to learn more. I've watched several tutorials, but none of them have explained the problem I'm experiencing.

My problem is this: I'm practicing changing my HP values ​​in an online game where there have already been several hacks, so it's possible. I've been pointer them until I find the static green value. When I change the value, it doesn't change and returns to its previous value. When I freeze and change the value in-game, it changes for a microsecond and then returns to its normal value, and this continues in a loop. Of course, I'm still taking damage, and my HP decreases, and the value on the Cheat Engine also decreases. Do you know where the problem might be coming from? Do I have to inject code?
