|
|
Hello Guys,
first of all... I big thanks to DarkByte for creating and developing Cheat Engines.
I hope this is the right place to make a feature request. As you know there's already the "Scan for Patches" build in. Within the denuvo copy protection it's now normal that such an EXE file can have around 500MB in file size. When you use the scan for patches method it can take a long time to determine/load the patches. Maybe it's possible to extend the scan for patches function to limit the search by a given memory region or you let the user choose the memory region (Start Address -> End Address).
Thanks for reading and
Best regards

Hi Csimbi
are we talking already about the same thing? I mean the "Scan for patches" function that's build in in CE. You can access it right at the disassembler window under the tools section.
Oh I see there's a thread about it...
I mean the "Patch Scanner" it's available here on the forum under the extensions section
Best regards
