For some context, I'm very new to Cheat Engine and only started using it Friday evening but I successfully patched out the very aggressive horizontal camera auto-centering in this game (Tomb Raider 2013) on Saturday and found the addresses fairly quickly - scanned for 0 when the camera isn't centering (I spun the camera around wildly), then looked for values that changed when it was, rinse and repeat until I found the values. Doing the same thing for vertical auto-rotation, however, is a lot harder and I can't find the values using this method or a couple of others - how would you go about finding the addresses?

Nice job on figuring out the horizontal auto-centering in Tomb Raider 2013! For the vertical auto rotation, it can be a bit trickier sometimes. Have you tried narrowing down your search by looking for values that change specifically when the camera tilts up or down? Sometimes adjusting the scanning parameters or trying different types of scans (like exact value or unknown initial value) can help too.

Or look at the memory of the horizontal rotation. Vertical is usually within a 32 byte range

does it work in cutscenes? Can you control the mouse during cutscenes/qte?

Just played from the start of the radio tower part to the end which has cutscenes and QTEs and everything seemed fine
