CE crashed when trying to access settings

Been using my self-compiled CE since the release of 7.5 and out of the blue today, every time when I try to access the CE settings(Edit>Settings) it crashed

I never had this problem before. Does anyone knows what might be the culprit and how to solve this?

Edit: I just noticed, it also crashed when I click Process Selector icon as well Sad

blame windows updates

go to Windows-Security > App- and Browesercontrol > Exploit-Protection > ASLR with high Entropy and disable that

Windows Defender is the worse. Get yourself a decent AV and replace Defender.
