Hey everyone,

Completely new to intermediate/advanced levels of cheat engine user here. I started playing Pocket Academy 3 recently and hoped to make a table for myself (and many others who requested it).

However, after HOURS of being unable even to find ONE address, I need some help from the pros. The game looked innocent on its own; you type in a value, and it gives you the address, but when you try to change the value, it simply reverts to the original value. I understand the game has stored the actual value somewhere else, so I searched for the actual value the hard way - beginning with an unknown initial value, then filtering by decreasing value (I'm spending money in-game).

Now comes the real problem. I am left with 20+ addresses, and the one that shows the correct value is the dummy address. None of these addresses make sense to me, and I am completely lost.

I've attached a screenshot of what I'm looking at; please help me. Thank you guys for your patience and your help.

Hard to tell. The integers beginning with 4294... are negative numbers. The other big ones over 1 billion are probably floats if I had to guess. The smaller integers... no idea, maybe something to do with pixel space coordinates.

If you don't really want to dive into anything more advanced than scanning for values, try taking those 5 floats, freeze them, and see what happens.

Otherwise... it's a unity game. I'd activate mono features and dissect mono. See the "Mono" menu at the top of the main window.

Maybe looking at what instructions access that "dummy" address would give you a good idea of the class name to look for. View each instruction in the disassembler after activating mono features to see the mono symbol associated with the address of the instruction, if there is any such symbol.

Thank you for your response. I did a bit of searching, and yes, it is an Unity game with IL2CPP. I've tried using MelonLoader along with UnityExplorer, but MelonLoader keeps giving me an error. I've stopped trying for now (work is starting to take a toll), but I'll post an update if I make any progress in the future.
