Is there a way to track the count in "Find out what addresses this instruction accesses" for when I am inside of my allocated code cave? This would make it alot easier for me since when items are on the ground and within the local player area the count increases. When I am out of range of any ground items the count stops. And when the item is picked up the item pointer address value goes to 0.

I can think of two options from the top of my head:
1. You do two "Find out what addresses this instruction accesses" - one outside and one in your code cave.
2. Use your own variable in your code cave and count there.
Register a symbol for it and add that symbol to a memory record so you can see its value.
Now you can compare the two.
