how to cheat online games, I tried using the cheat engine but only the appearance changed and couldn't be used

The values aren't stored on your computer. They're stored on some other server the online game uses. Find where that server is located IRL, break into the facility, get root access to the server, install CE on it, and then you can find and change the values you want. /s

When a game (a process) runs, it stores game information in dynamically allocated memory, which can be accessed via pointers. The offsets of these pointers, which refer to where the memory is located, can be found using a process known as pattern scanning. You can read and write to these memory locations from here. That is the fundamental underlying functionality of how a cheat operates. These memory blocks can store information such as your current health, the gun you're carrying, and so on. Depending on the game, you may also gain access to netvars, which contain information about other players such as location, health, and so on. You can then use this information to create an aim assist function.
