How do I cheat?

Lazarus compiler gives me "frmAAEditPrefsUnit.pas(51,16) Error: Identifier not found "TSynEditorOptions". I tried to google that, but everywhere it says about installing an addon that I already have installed, how to fix it?

you used the wrong lazarus version
read the readme.md that's inside the version of the sourcecode you've downloaded to see the version needed
