Hi! I'm trying to inject a dll in another process and I'm having this error;

"dllInject failed: Failed injecting the DLL
Force load module failed:failed finding address of MSVCP140!?_Winerror_map@std@ @YAHH@Z"

I'm using windows 11 x64 (but other people made it work with the same OS) and I encounter this issue with any dll i'm trying to inject. I already tried reinstalling every vcredist redistribuables.

Anyone encountered this? Any idea to fix this?

compile your dll with static runtime linking instead of dynamic/dll

I didn't compile this dll myself, I got it off a forum. Seems to work for everyone else. Am I supposed to recompile it somehow?

in that case dll injection has failed.
could be you miss the correct runtime version or your anti virus is protecting you from dll injection

I've installed every runtime from 2005 to 2022 (the vcredist). How can I miss anything?

I'm using windows defender only. I've been turning protection off but still nothing. I have no clue what to try honestyl

Is the dll in a folder where the game has read access and is the dll also readable and executable for that game?

try running the game as admin

try running ceregreset.exe and then start CE and then try

Just tried this. I reset CE, started the game as admin (with the dll in the game folder next to the .exe, should have read privileges) and I still have this error message...
