The human sources of knowledge are three:
(sound sense perception, reliable reporting, and logic & reasoning)
These names and concepts are not identical to the objects or properties they represent— they are merely what we use to help us understand and communicate about reality; concepts we use are not inherent or necessary aspects of reality itself, they are simply convenient tools that we use to make sense of the world around us. Objects and properties of reality do exist, but rather independently of the names and concepts we use to describe them.
The mind possesses necessary knowledge of the external reality mediated to it by the senses, of its own innate logical principles, and of whatever has reached it by way of massively recurrent transmission.
Human reason is limited and can be problematic and lead to errors, biases, and false assumptions; reason can not be the sole source of truth (by virtue of the intuitive experience), but instinctively recognizes necessary and self-evident truths.
The intuitive experience is the mind using innate knowledge to abstract universal concepts, from empirical knowledge provided, to form judgments (impressions) of what it holds as mental representations of external reality.
Just as sensory perception allows us to gather information about the world around us, reliable reporting allows us to gather accurate and consistent information from others. In both cases, the more reliable the sense we use and the more reliable the source, the more certain we can be about the information we are receiving, and the impression it forms.
Impressions are rational if and only if they cohere to the intuitive experience.
Evidence is only necessary to validate impressions if anomalies appear to disrupt their coherency.

An existent is that which is itself; an impossible existent cannot exist by virtue of what it is; a possible existent can or cannot exist by virtue of what it is. This is obtained through the innate logical principles commonly known as the "Classical Laws of Logic", "Principle of Sufficient Reason", and "Causal Principle":
Quote:
An existent:

Proposition 1)
Exists by virtue of what it is

Proposition 2)
Does not exist by virtue of what it is

Conclusion)
By the Law of Non-Contradiction,
Proposition 1 & Proposition 2 cannot both be true (or both false) at the same time and in the same way.

By the Law of the Excluded Middle, there are 3 types of existents:

The first type of existent would be "Necessary",
where the first proposition is true and the second proposition is false,
as the "Necessary existent" exists by virtue of what it is.

The second type of existent would be "Impossible",
where the first proposition is false and the second proposition is true,
as the "Impossible existent" does not exist by virtue of what it is.

The third type of existent would be "Possible",
where the existent can or can not exist, by virtue of what it is.
By the Principle of Sufficient Reason and the Causal Principle,
(which together state that everything must have an explanation for its cause of existence)
the cause of the emergence of a Possible existent must be an extrinsic specifier.
Therefore, their emergence is due to a cause external to itself,
where the existent would be "Dependent" or "Contingent", by virtue of what it is.

Affirmation of these principles while denying these types of existents leads to a framework of infinite regress and no explanation for the grounding of truth, the emergence of temporal events, or the emergence of existents.

These innate logical principles are for supposing coherent abstraction as to what accepts its existence being actualised in reality; such that the cause of any proposition must be non-arbitrary. While their descriptions vary in application and the concepts conveyed in a paradigm that accepts them can describe them in alignment in various manners, they help us to understand the nature of reality and the ways in which things come into being, as well as their objective and subjective qualities. They are not separate things, but rather different ways of describing the same underlying reality.

What is the purpose of reasoning and logic if not to arrive at the most accurate and coherent understanding of reality, and how can we be sure that our reasoning and logic are reliable if we do not have an innate understanding of the fundamental nature of reality and the laws that govern it?
If our innate knowledge and logical principles did not accurately reflect the nature of reality, how could we have any confidence in the conclusions we draw about the world and ourselves?

Would not a reliance on arbitrary principles ultimately lead to a lack of coherence and inconsistency in our understanding of the world and our knowledge? Is it not more logical and coherent to trust in principles that are grounded in reason and have a rational basis, rather than those that are arbitrary and lack such justification?
Indeed, these principles (which are necessary truths by their very nature) are innate and must be grounded in the cause of externality itself.
