Cheat Engine

I don’t have many problems with other games and Minecraft was working until it just stopped. I cant find the value of any item in my inventory, I thought it was just multiplayer but then it stopped working in single player aswell does anyone know why?
It happened in some other games aswell but I thought it was just because they were online and they were changing the addresses. I haven’t used cheat engine for long so could someone explain why it can’t find values in other games aswell?

Are you scanning javaw.exe process in the right way?
there are a lot of tutorials on Youtube that teach how to do it, it's not a secret and you should try searching before doing a thread like this.
