trying to enable speedhack gives error

i have the cheatengine program in the applications folder also with system integrity protection disabled.

whenever i click "enable speedhack" the error "failure determining what realgettimeofday means"

i am trying this on the game "clone hero" because i want to try a thing that involves slowing down the game

i tried it on the latest public test build of the game and the latest stable build of the game

help

xcode is installed?
After ticking it and getting that error. Close CE and attach again
go to memoryview and wait till symbols are loaded (it shows the address where it usually says "symbols are being loaded")

then try speedhack

I don't think Speedhack works anymore, at least not from what i've tried with trying to get it to work on Magic Kingdoms and what not, it hasn't been able to do it since the update.

I loaded symbols and tried speedhack, and still got this error message:
