Cheat Engine

I downloaded the trial version of cheat engine, intending to use it on Geometry Dash(not maliciously though), but when going to click 'Enable Speedhack', the program gives me the error message 'Failure of determining what realGetTimeOfDay means'. This is of course after I select GD in the applications list. I have no clue what gives me this error, and any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like the dylib injection failed, or takes too long. Try looking at enumerate modules and symbols(in memoryview), and see if you can find the injected speedhack dylib in that list

I found it in Symbols

seems dylib injection worked, but I don't see any cross/arrow left of the dylibs.

Try closing that window, and wait until all symbols are loaded. Then try looking at it again.
If it does show something, then try the speedhack

I closed the window, ran speedhack, then reopened it, and the same thing happened. in the image above, you see a few things, then you see libspeedhack.dylib, then below that are a few hundred other things you cant see in the image.

there is usually a progress bar or indicator that says something about loading symbols in the memoryview window
is it there?

The problem is that this is supposed to be a treeview, which each entry having an arrow that when clicked will show all the exposed functions.
In your case it doesn't have any
Try installing xcode and see if it makes a difference

Ok, i re opened cheat engine and ran it again, and after changing nothing i get a new error :p

btw yes i have xcode
