The latest LuaSocket supports 5.3 if compiled properly for it. You need to define:
Code:

LUA_COMPAT_APIINTCASTS


while compiling it against Lua 5.3.x to make it compatible.

Thanks, atom0s for info. Actually I am using Lua for windows binaries build has completely with some Lua module extensions such as alien, Cario, LFS, etc.

However, this link below provides Lua socket for Lua 5.3. (For Windows use Cygwin).

But I am not yet building it and test under CE 7.0 environments.
