Cheat Engine

Hey there, first time posting because this issue is really getting to me.

I got a table for Dark Souls (original version), and this same table used to work without any issues.
Somehow I lost it, so I went looking for it and downloaded it again. Now whenever I open a dialogue box, it can't be dismissed. So I'll bring up a dialogue to change a value, and it won't close, so I can't do anything else.
If I force Cheat Engine to close and open the table again, it doesn't work at all, the game has to be closed and reopened before the table will even respond again.

Last night it somehow got working, albeit with a delay between me pressing ok and the dialogue closing. Now it won't close at all. I have no idea what's wrong.

EDIT: For clarification, Cheat Engine is still functioning while this is happening. I can see values changing based on what's happening in game, and the values will all clear if the game is closed. The dialogue box just can't be dismissed.

perhaps that table is hammering timers or synchronize like crazy delaying mouseclicks until it leaves some time for it to handle

i can't really say what needs to be changed. Try increasing ce's priority in the taskmanager.

also; what cpu do you have ?
