How do I find and "freeze" a constantly decreasing, unknown value?

Basically I'm just trying to freeze customer patience in time management games (for example, Burger Shop 2), but the patience levels for each customer is unique and not just a simple hex value I can see in-game.

I'm very confused trying to figure out anything in Cheat Engine itself, but I am willing to learn if anyone can help me figure this out.

you dont have to care about each customer have a different patience time, just find the value of one of them then you can give them all infinite patience time.

time can be any of the following: (this what i found in some games)
- byte
- 4 byte
- float
- double

but in most games they are float, so just choose float data type and hit unknown initial value then start hitting decreased value every 1s till you find it.
once you did see what writes to it, the instruction you will find will be writing to all other customers patience.
letting the instruction always write at least 1 second to customers patience you will get infinite patience time.

After doing that until nothing else changed, I'm left with what's in the attached image.

How do I write the instructions and which address do I do it to?

Update: I keep hitting next scan a couple times and ended up with just one address (the 7EFD1E8 one). So know I just need to know how to write instructions to it.

I've tried looking at the wiki and that just confused me. Can anyone help and explain?

Try the CE tutorial first.

Also, that value might be a double.

Unfortunately it's not a freeware game (although I did get it for free; hope it's okay to say that).

I'm doing the tutorial and stuck on the end of step six: "Now, change the value using the pointer you added in 5000 and freeze it. Then click Change pointer, and if all went right the next button will become visible."

I'm able to change it to 5000, but I don't know how to freeze it.

you see that check-box on the left side? just click on it and it will be freezed.
or just highlight the address and mash SPACE.

Re-did the tutorial because I lost what I was doing, is the a for sure way to tell which assembler instruction is the one to use? I get four of them (see attached image).
When I got this part last time, I think I did everything correctly but the next button never became visible.
Sorry for so many questions, I just want to understand this...
