SVN is ancient (though not as ancient as CVS)

The hassle of converting from svn to git outweighs the usefulness of the added features of git (which are none as far as i can see for a single developer)

So you never work on multiple features at once?
SVN wasn't made for 'single' developers.
What hassle? (git-scm dot com/book/en/Git-and-Other-Systems-Git-and-Subversion)
This was tailor made for svn users afaik, you won't find nice tools like this for other tools, that I am aware of. And if you're afraid of tools like that:
1) Copy Paste source code into new folder on Hard Drive
2) git init
3) done
Anyways, it looks like your project is already in git, in various manners (these are not me, btw, I cannot take credit):

I work on multiple features at once yes, and SVN has no issues with that at all. It sees all modifications when I decide to commit them, and when I'm on another system I just an update.
That's all I use it for. To share my updates with other people that are interested and to quickly fetch the latest version when i'm on another system
As for hassle I mean the hassle of uninstalling tortoise svn and installing git and then checking it out again. That's an infinite amount of extra work compared to doing nothing and let everything work properly without issues
And those git projects are put up there by other people for which I do not provide any kind of support
