Cheat Engine

I opened up Cheat Engine about an hour ago to try out this new cheat table I downloaded when I got a notification that there's a new version of Cheat Engine out.
I head over and see about getting this new version. The latest one appeared at first to be 6.6, which i'm currently on, but that tiny little mention on the front page talks about 6.6.0.1.
How do I get 6.6.0.1? Redownload the 6.6 installer?

Newest official release is 6.6.0.1 (installer version). You can check out version of two main exe files, should be: 6.6.0.4880 and 6.6.0.4881

Someone (maybe CE Beta tester) is using alpha (or custom) build of CE.
You can try this: open CT file with notepad++ or hexeditor and change CheatEngineTableVersion="XX" to CheatEngineTableVersion="24". Save. Try again and check if all options work.

By the way, I also use custom builds of CE.
