Hello Guys,
i need your help iam trying to get ceserver_x86 working on MEmu(Android Emulator) but i cant get a connection with ce6.5.
I managed to install and start ceserver (1).
But i get this error(2).
Now i installed the android sdk and the platform_tools for windows and tryed to forward with "adb forward tcp:52736 tcp:52736 and got this error(3).
i thought maybe the wrong version and downloaded adb 1.0.31 and again an error. (4)
iam at the end of my knowlege maybe one of you can help me and give me a new option to try.
//EDIT
i tryed a few more things but still no success...
on MEmu i can find my emulator-5554 device but still not on Windows.
Its the same adb version but the emulator starts it on port 5038 and the windows version on 5037 is maybe this the problem ? (5)
Sorry for my bad english and thx for read this |

Perhaps your emulator doesn't implement ADB properly.
You're sure it doesn't have an unique IP in your system ? (some emulators may add a virtual network and get an ip that way)
Also, you need to run ceserver as root (su first), the command line you've shown is a normal user _________________

thx for the answer.
The ip-address is 10.0.3.15 dont think its over an virtual network.(6)
And i cant check if adb is installed/used properly.
i think i will switch to Genymotion to track the base pointer i need maybe its the same in MEmu.
//EDIT Usally i start ceserver with su |

try connecting directly to 10.0.3.15 instead of localhost (adb forward is only needed if it has no unique ip and you have to connect to localhost 127.0.0.1)
and try setting selinux to permissive. sometimes it interferes with connections _________________

i tryed connecting to 10.0.3.15 ce frezzes for 2 min and then "Failed to connect to server" .
Memu is running Android 4.2.2 maybe it helps to know that ^^
is it possible that Selinux is not installed in MEmu ?

How did you fix?
EDIT: I solved using "adb forward tcp:52736 tcp:52736" from Windows after running ceserver_x86 in Android terminal. Without adb forward, CE can't connect to the server (127.0.0.1:52736). |
