I've been playing some online MMOs and speed hack works with Cheat Engine. However, sometimes only I speed up, and I see NPCs and players lag behind. Sometimes everyone speeds up, all the NPCs and players also speed up...

Does the speed hack effect everyone online?

In an MMORPG no. You do not control other clients data. In a game where you can host a server such as Counter-Strike, or other FPS style games, your edits can affect others since you are the server in that regard.

You probably see them speed up as a client prediction system is attempting to handle their movement client sided vs. server sided. If you disable the speed hack do they snap back to a proper location once they move again?

Thanks for taking the time to reply, the questions has been bugging me for awhile now. I just tried it, turning the speed hack off, I kinda see people returning to their original places. NPCs seem to remain at a hacked speed.

Day 22, no one has noticed that I'm speed hacking. I tried speeding it up as fast as I can, but the game crashes and becomes unstable after x5.
