Thanks for listening guys. Keep at it Niro and keep getting new vsts cracked until you can afford them it really helps your game. I still have about 30 I haven't even installed yet... Gross beat is aight I don't really use it anymore... If you can get break tweaker working, which I haven't, it's like a paid version of GB that's much better.

I guess it depends on the sample? Try turning off "Use loop points" maybe

I've been producing for 3-4 years and just got a piano two weeks ago. I still barely use it because I'm so trained to the midi... so if you want to avoid that then definitely get on ASAP so you don't become too use to only clicking in notes. It works for sure though this instrumental I didn't use the piano at all. Think of the piano as just inspiration you fool around a bit till you find something nice. Really you need to learn the chords, so start with a minor because its easiest. It's all the white keys starting from a to a look up the chords on google. Then if you just transpose your whole melody you can make it have a different tone without knowing other keys, and then you use those new keys to make the rest of you song. What ever key was A before you moved it becomes the new scale, so if you move it down one thats G# minor, and if its all down two its G minor. Keep note of the ratios between notes in A minor because they stay the same no matter the key you're in theres a code online involving h and w as half and whole steps if you want to look it up it helps a bit.
