There's this online space MMO that I desperately want to play, but I don't have any money at the moment. I got an idea a week ago. Since you can play the game for 5 minutes as a trial, I got this idea: What if I freeze the timer with Cheat Engine? Sadly, I cannot post the name of the game, but I know that this can be done somehow. After the timer expires, the game kicks me out. I've been trying for a week now, I just cannot solve this. I cannot find the value of the timer, tried float with unknown initial value and decreasing, there are a LOT of values, and they constantly keep changing... I have no idea what's going on. I just cannot find it. I need help. Please, I need to play this game. I am still a noob at Cheat Engine, but I know the basics. But this... this goes beyond me. I just hope the timer isn't server side. But even then, there has to be a way to stop the game from kicking me out. That's all I want.
I'm sorry if I said something I shouldn't, I know that these forums have strict rules.

| If it's online it won't work with Cheat Engine. Easy as that.

How come DS works with Cheat Engine then? I know some other online games as well that work with this.

| Most Online Games won't work, as they store the Values on the Servers. Sometimes you may be able to find a Display Value, but that won't help you either.

All I need is to freeze the timer, and I have a feeling it's clientside. That's all I need. If only I could find that goddamn value... There's no display timer visible in the game, so I have no idea if the value is decreasing or increasing. Come on, someone has to have an idea about how to stop the game from disconnecting me.
Edit: I give up. I will never be able to play this game...
