First offense you should be fine. Already did court shit for weed, a friend for a controlled substance, both just did community service shit. You'll probably have a fair amount of service, but you're white, they're not going to lock you up.

drug posession laws in california have been a joke for the past year. unfortunately this law passed after i got sober and stopped going to jail. you now only do 30% of your time in orange county jails due to overpopulation; used to be 50%. and in l.a. county you only do 10%.

now if youre caught with meth heroin crack etc drugs which used to be a felony charge are now misdameanors. notonly that but you also no longer go to jail but simply get a ticket. a slap on the wrist.

drug addicts see it as good because now they can keep using with no legal reprocussions. but in reality its terrible cus it allows them to keep killing themselves and gives them less reason to stop and get help. had i not gone to jail that first time i wouldnt know that sobriety was even possible, although forced. but i feel it saved my life and showed me that i could get sober.

Actually the main reason why I'll be getting off lightly is because first thing I did when I got out of jail was get a lawyer.
They are still waiting for permission to send the shroomcakes to a lab because apparently those need to go to a specialist and it costs about 300$. The narcotics department in my town never dealt with shrooms/cakes so they have no idea how this will even be treated
