Dota2 > League

But neither of those games are good.

@OP, how about The Witcher 3? Or Metal Gear Solid V?
If you're into fantasy RPGs I would highly recommend Divinity: Original Sin!

Also Dragon's Dogma just hit Steam the other day, so I'd suggest that.

i'm very new to mobas, hots was my first, league my second. maybe i'll try dota in the future, but the few times I've tried it in the past I could barely maneuver my hero around and I didn't know how to even look at a minimap. doto is hard and I'm a noob. I'm not gonna torture myself with that shit.

dota is the least noob friendly game. The community is toxic and the game is extremely punishing. Die? lose gold and fall extremely far behind. The shops in dota are so confusing and takes a long time to get used to. Try this war of mine. Its the sims... in Ukraine

I'd say the community is just as toxic as League's. The shops really aren't that confusing. The dying thing is somewhat true, not so much so outside of the professional side. You obviously fall behind for dying, but that's said for every moba. Depending on how you play you can easily catch up and possibly surpass the enemy team. "Coming back" from losing is common, even in competitive games.

The whole item recipe system is alot harder than league's and then theres the secret shop. Alot of new ppl get confused by how the main shop doesnt carry everything. Also csing is alot harder in dota.

Oh yeah the game is certainly more complex than League, but I wouldn't consider it "hard". Just play the tutorials, play some bot matches till you're comfortable then join some pubs.
