Hi, I found an address which when I change from 0 to 1, it freezes the game but it also does something i'm looking for: Enabling me to build everywhere in the map. I do "browse this memory region" and try to find where it does this change but can't really find it ... I get a bunch of "add [eax],al" repeated many many times. it's pretty much EVERYWHERE on the memory.

What's that and why is it repeated?
Also, Is thare an easy way to find what i'm looking for if I know it's being affected by a value I already found?

Yeah I figured this out but why would they need to repeat it 10 times in a row

where is this add [eax],al located?
and if its adding it 10 times in a row it means it needs to add the value stored in al 10 times, its as easy as that Smile

could be any game, maplestory has loads of sections with add [eax],al.

Some of them are actually quite cool if moddded.

you can try replacing some with sub [eax],al or add [eax].dl.

All depends on the region your talking about.

add [eax],al is often used as shared memory (like for pointers), you can replace them with autoassembler code too.
Try to right click->go to address in memory view instead of Browse this memory region

It's for Age of mythology the Titans.. I've already made a MapHack which completely removes Fog of war and blackmap but i'd be nice if you don't have to bring a unit where you want to build something before you build it and simply place it in the map and the unit goes there to build it. would save evon more time when playing good players. I found avalue which freezez the game but when you unfreeze it always "Out of Sync" so the game is over and noone wins. but when playing single player, I realized that after unfreezing, the build option i'm talking about is enabled. I can place anything everywhere in the map.

Also, What is the memory region all about? I didn't know mem regions could change anyting.

Here's a screenshot of the memory i'm talking about. This is where the value of freeze takes me. there must be somewhere out there where it does the changes I want...

Edit: Just realized that if I change the Add to sub in the 2 first one of the screenshot, it freezes. But not the others.

theyr NULL's!!!! gah they arent part of executionable code when there are so many of them -.- so dont call them add [eax],al

i never messed around with fog of war, mmm i should!
