What happens when all of the Baby Boomers retire at record rates the next few years? Blue-collar jobs will be open for Gen X and Millennials, right?
Not with Bernie Sanders as president!
Those jobs will be replaced with machinery and outsourcing to other countries! Business owners getting taxed at 90% and $15/hour minimum wage drives jobs away!
Bernie will cause the Great Depression 2.0.

Idk. I think great depressions/recessions are all natural occurring events. If history tells us correctly each one of us will face 1 depression and 2 recessions in our lifetime iirc.

Economic recessions are "naturally occurring events"?
What about the 2008 housing crisis? The Dot Com bubble in 2000? Or the Oil Price Shock in 1991? What about the 1973 Oil Crisis? These aren't naturally occurring at all, it is caused by incompetence from our government and the federal reserve.
Bailing out bernie mac and fannie mae was an awful decision. Lowering interest rates to "stimulate" the economy only depreciates the dollar. To say that these aren't caused by incompetent leaders is only lying to yourself. Politicians may claim they are naturally occurring because they don't want to be held accountable, but the truth is they are at fault.

The next president will have to deal with two major issues that will come up concerning Baby Boomers:
1. Finding the money to pass out social security checks to Baby Boomers.
2. Replacing the blue collar jobs that Baby Boomers retired from with AMERICANS, not computers, not the Chinese.

Natural doesnt mean it happens just by itself. It means its going to happen either way. Next president, may be good enough to stall the inevitable or mitigate damages, but it's going to happen. Tired right now but we go through a recessions pretty often, every X amount. Theres a statistic on it. Also J.P Morgan says 76% chance of recessions in next 3 years. Some claim that Federal Reserve are stalling another economic disaster.
Also politics /=/ economics. I wasn't quoting any politicians.
