just got back from seeing the movie.

resistance gets attacked by the dark side
resistance has missing map piece to where luke skywalker located
lil new robot gets away with map piece
robot finds the girl whose featured in previews
black storm trooper doesnt want to be with dark side so he escapes and helps resistance gjy who had the map escape
new leader is han solo and leas son
han solo finds the girl black guy and robot with map piece
they help get them to the resistance while the dark side chases them
they reconnect with resistance and form a plan to take down the dark side with the knowlwdge from the black storm trooper
the dark side has a new death star thats way bigger with a secret weapon that sucks up an entire sun to shoot beams to destroy planets
they destroy all of the republic who is backing the resistance
resistance forms plan going to new seath star
han solo dies to his son
they successfully destroy death star and the girl learns she posesses the force
lukes lightsaber calls to her and she slowly learns about her power
in the end r2d2 reawakens and posseses the rest of the map that the final piece goes to
they go to scottland and luke is standing there like an old man
movie ends with the girl trying to give him his light saber back but he lifts up his robotic arm to signal he has no arm he cant use that lightsaber
movie ends

I liked the new movie overall, I just wish it wasn't so clearly an analogue to the first. Opening scene as a giant star ship, desert planet where we find our new hero, droids as the thing that escapes the evil people with key information, the new jedi girl meets someone who plays a role as a pseudo father who dies to the dark evil, another death star which blows up a planet only to be blown up itself when the good guys lower the shields and hit the vents.

I think of all things, the third death star was the one that was a bit too much for me. Also, Kylo Ren is much more of a bitch than I thought he'd be from adverts.
