How do I cheat?

Cheat Engine release date shows as "May 20, 2012" on Google
When I used this software a loooot back in Middle School. And I graduated from Middle School in 2011. Soooo, this makes no fucking sense.

It's true. Cheat Engine 1.0 was released on May 20, 2012.
Google is never wrong, and if it is, it'll just send a terminator back in time to make sure it's right

Why don't you use the terminator to release CE in 2001, would be much more productive
