How do I cheat?

Hello Guys, I am playing Plants vs Zombies GOTY edition on PC. I looked up for the hidden minigames hack you could do on it.
(Instructions on how)
Steps: (For PvZ Game Of The Year (GOTY) edition)
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Go to Cheat Engine, click "Add Addess Manually".
Type "430C80" in the Address box.
Change "4 Bytes" to "Byte"
Repeat the same step, but increase the last digit of "430C80" by one.
After three of them are entered into the table at the bottom of the cheat engine window, change all of their values into "144"
COMPLETE.
*This hack will remain after closing the Cheat Engine.

So the person who wrote the hack said that it will remain after closing cheat engine. So I followed the step and it did work and i closed cheat engine. But when i reopened my PVZ, The hack didn't work and i had to keep on repeating the hack if i wanted to play the hidden minigames. So i was wondering if anyone knew how to make it permanent without having to do it every time i want to play the hidden minigames.
I am using cheat engine 6.4.
