I'm trying to use cheat engine 6.4 to find the memory address that stores the location of Animations and Animation Transitions for Dolphin's Pokemon Battle Revolution (PAL)

The last time I scanned, I used the following: Search for: ALL / An Unknown Initial Value. >>> A Changed Value. When the Pokemon moved, I searched for the Changed Value. But the search took forever. I checked my task manager, and the program wasn't even using half the memory on my computer. So, I checked the program, and it was running. However, it took so long, with the bar stuck at 0%, that I had to force termination. Then, problems started happening. The program froze, and I had to force exit. Then I closed Dolphin to be safe, then reopen it, and it never opened my rom dumps (almost as if the program died.) I force closed and reopened a few times, and still nothing.

I had to redownload dolphin to get it to work at all.

I still cannot seem to search for the Animations. I'm actually looking for the exact animation/transition of when the pokemon goes into it's pokeball. When my computer runs the game at highest quality, the performance lags, and the pokemon actually goes into it's pokeball later than usual. I'm trying to modify the memory to make it do that without actually raising quality to the top peak. Any ideas?

How did you even get Cheat Engine to work with Dolphin?
A step-by-step would be greatly appreciated.

In Cheat Engine, go to:

Edit -> Settings -> Scan Settings

Now make sure you have MEM_MAPPED checked. If you don't, then that's probably your solution.

Now, actually getting to the value you're looking to get to may be a whole other battle, but that will all come down to your skill set with CE in general.
