Very fun tbh, there's a linear story questline that you follow and do area side quests to fill any level gaps that may occur (if you just clear entire starting areas you end up staying 2-3 levels above the storyline which really helps at times depending on your class) but what keeps me interested is how fun to play each class actually is

I only do the story quests and ignore all the other ones. And if I need to level I just run some dungeons a couple of times, which is a lot more fun than doing the sidequests imo, plus it can get you rare drops that beats any gear you could get from quests. I also think you level a lot faster by doing dungeons than by doing the sidequests (especially dungeons with repeatable kill-quests) but I could be wrong.

I tried Neverwinter a pretty long time ago and remember that I really liked it at first, but I quit playing it for some reason I can not recall. There was something about it that really put me off.

Popping in here to tell you that ArcheAge is a piece of shit game ran by a company that only cares about making money, and pretty much lets whales (people who spend a ton on the game) and streamers (free adverts) get away with doing whatever they want. Tons of botters, pay to win, bullshit game.

I think you'd be very hard pressed to find something in the Dota 2 cash shop that would give you a competitive advantage.

All games are run by corporations. Corporations #1 goal is to maximize profits. So that doesn't make ArcheAge any different from Guild Wars 2 or Steam or Valve in their goals. It just turns out that in the long run, company reputation matters and since ArenaNet has maintained such a good reputation, it still remains wildly successful today with Guild Wars 2. Money isn't the root of all evil.
