How do I cheat?

Used search function, but did not find any topich related to this Webrowser Hjack program;
As some new users already know, this program (MyStartSearch) come with the 6.4 version of CE, and considered as highly unwanted Webrowser search engine (I didn't want it, so I skipped the case in the installation of CE, but still it got installed on my PC...) and as I searched is even definited as "Webrowser Hjacker" mean it send the user who uses it often at malicious sites.
Now, since this was included in CE installation, mind if I ask why was it included in the first place, and how to COMPLETELY remove it from my PC? I used MWbytes, and managed to remove some files, but it's still there when I start Mozilla Firefox, or IE.
Is there anybody else who had that same problem?

If I were you,I would use AdwCleaner.

how big was the ce version you downloaded? that way i can determine which advertiser network it was that offered it and report it.( the download page randomly picks one)
according to the rules the uninstall in the windows software control panel should have removed all traces of it. But seeing you already manually deleted some files i doubt that is an option now (uninstallers don't work when files are missing)

| I download a downloader (420KB), so I realy cannot tell the real size of the file; pretty sure uninstall of Mystart wasn't there in the first place, and that is so annoying...

thanks. That it's the downloader tells me enough. I'll get this sorted out
on this one you should have clicked the grey skip button on the bottom left to not install.
i have a version where i can change the gui myself so next ce version that trick is gone

I just realized it now, but I did check out all the case, so it shouldn't have installed it anyway, but at least I managed to clean the mess, Ty again rnib!
