Anyone know an ez method to re-find a base pointer after it's been changed again? with out going through a new scan?

Look into using array of bytes instead of raw pointers to locate data.

you could do a new scan but tell it what the offsets are. That way you won't have to wait. (and you'll quickly see if the offsets have stayed the same or not)

I'm sorry to ask this question such a noob to cheat engine at the moment. lol

But where do i a do the new scan for offsets at? is that under the pointer scan or?

It's in the pointerscan.
Tell it that it has to end with specific offsets and then fill them in
