not an addict to the degree i am. or probably not an addict at all if you can use with control and no consequences. a normal person that has serious consequences as a result of their drug use will stop. an addict will keep using. and you haven't recovered. you still use drugs.

heroin is like nothing else, theres literally 0 reason to not just use heroin until you die, its basically torture to not use it

yeh very few people but i know some. most of those people had to go through like 20-30 years of addiction, lots of prison time, losing literally everything, being like 50 years old. don't know anyone my age that has successfully for more than a year.

you go to a forum where people take drugs like how kids are eating candies now after halloween regardless if youre actually looking for advise or not.
i like to keep my life simple. if I want something and I dont know how to get it, I just simply find a person who has what I want and ask them how they did it.

i know how they did it and i'm doing the same things. it just isn't working for me because i honestly don't feel i've gone through "enough" to stop. i can still endure more pain as a result of my using. i don't know how much more that is. until i have gone through "enough" where the consequences of using outweight the high i will never stop no matter how bad i want to.

I know what you mean, I've seen one of Jordan Belfort (Wolf of Wallstreet guy) seminar. He said change is quick and easy, the hard part is feeling enough pain to actually decide to change. But I think you should get rid of the mindset that you need more destruction in your life to fully commit.
I dont know your life man or what youve done to help yourself. but at least youre trying to change unlike most people. just look at the positives and dont focus too much on the negatives. but dont be so positive that you become delusional of reality.
