Hey guys,
Whenever you for instance, increase/decrease the volume on your computer via the Keyboard some of you may see a an interface showing your volume level.
Something like this:
What's special about this interface, I've noticed, is that it doesn't flicker in just about every full screen FPS game I've played this far.
Also, when you get the popups on the bottom-right corner of your screen:
you experience the same characteristics in game.
I was curious how windows is able to draw on the top of the screen and not have its interface flicker. Is there a DC that comes before everything else that is only accessible for Windows? Or is it something kernel-related?
Thanks
