Nice I was thinking of upgrading my gfx card but idk it runs soo well on pretty much anything i havent even oc'd it and still no troubles playing pretty much every game made during or before 2013 on max settings
only thing i have to work on is airflow when playing top titles on max like AC4
on ultra my cpu hits 59-64 C and my fps on ultra is like 30-45

and for somereason Bad company gets to fucking 68 C for no reason supposedly its memory leaks according to froums

I might just have to upgrade to liquid cooling at a decent rig

All this from a lowly ASUS 660 2GB @ 175$

If your CPU is not hitting 90C dont even bother. 60C is fine.
I just upgraded my graphics card. I have an i7 920 and it is still able to run all games.
DayZ StandAlone on max settings runs fine with this card and cpu

guys im using a FX-8350

I know they are okay but sometimes on BC it hits 70C which it gets a warning at 66C for over heated

for some reason this cpu is rated lower than others at which temps are acceptable i did some research and its dangerous to run past 70C

Im trying to squeeze a shitload of life out of this cpu and really only want to run it at optimal temps

also that feels when dayz wont work for me keeps getting random errors never even got it to start :<

I shoulda just tanked money into an i7 or i5 rather 8350

oh yeah.. its because they are quite packed.
still, you are not going over 70C its fine.
tmax of my old i7 is 100C and I have it running at 70C with liquid cooling xP (I should replace the thermal paste soon.. )

nice haha what lq kit you have?

and i think the thermal paste is a problem i could be encountering due to the fact the OEM fan doesnt cover 100% of the serface area of the CPu only about 90% -85%

nah, the thermal paste is something you should reapply given certain time. Mine has like over a year now. it must be all dry by now.
I have an old H80
it keeps my CPU at 40~60C silently.(when working properly)

I got the 760 for 100$ over its price just because I'm in Peru :/ I'm not going to waste 2000$ on a titan.

I don't think you made a bad decision at all you should be getting excellent frame rates and solid gaming and i highly doubt you will be doing any dual 4k gaming or 3d gaming
