When I was a bit younger I loved making up movies as I had some epic music on. This was one of my favorites:
Main character is a regular guy who goes to school, has a part-time job at a supermarket, donates blood, takes care of his ill but kind father, etc. One day the earth gets invaded by god like creatures, claiming the only reason the planet was never invaded for resources was due to an urban legend claiming there were incredibly powerful beings that protected this planet. The invaders at that time are the universes known most powerful beings who are disappointed to find nothing but a weak race.
The main characters father stands up against them, as it turns out he is similar to these beings, but he doesn't quite match up to their strength. He keeps telling them 'stop this' and 'you will kill us all'. The father eventually dies in battle. As the main character runs up towards his father as he draws his dying breath, all he tells him is 'Protect them'. At that point it becomes apparent the father sealed away the sons power, which weakened the father severely. Upon the father dying the main character goes into a frenzy, while the seal becomes undone. He tears through the army of alien forces, upon finally reaching the leader and four high ranking beings that stand beside him. He kills them all after a very one-sided battle in his favor, all the while fighting more like an animal than a human being.
The main character goes into a millennium long slumber in an effort to protect the planet from himself, and upon awakening finds that the world has split up into several countries. Each ruled by a god, where the people are able to control the element given to them by their god. These people are called 'the chosen', they use the element they control in their everyday lives to survive. Some have a higher affinity than others. It turns out that the main character is what is known as a titan, and these gods were humans once, but due to receiving blood from the main character from when he donated, they awakened as gods upon the main character awakening as a titan.
There is a small island/continent which does not have a reigning god, but is controlled by a global army, which control a group of people called 'the damned', who are treated as the outcasts of this world. This due to the fact that can not harness the element of a god. These people are pretty much dumped in this place, as they are born randomly around the globe. Children that are born with an affinity to any of the gods are taken at birth. The main character finds himself in this place as he awakens.
From there the main characters takes on a protective role supporting the damned, and lots of stuff happens. Like the fact that sharing the element makes gods more powerful, while the damned are not susceptible to this. I would really like something like this to be made into a movie.

Nope, I had never searched for racist jokes before. As a second suggestion it gave me racistische moppen, which is racist jokes in Dutch .
