I read, if he just wants to make a pokemon clone he can find the source for some really great ones out there.
If it's just for java practice then never mind, I wasn't sure though.

| so my plan is to write the current positions of tiles from the editor in to an xml file and have the game draw this information and update to those tiles every time the character goes up. StAX of course. any better ideas?
